Amiens, Francia: Morte alla giustizia, morte alla prigione, morte allo Stato! (01/04/2020)

Verso le 3.00 del mattino dell’1 aprile, ad Amiens, nella Francia settentrionale, degli anarchici hanno incendiato diversi veicoli appartenenti all’Amministrazione penitenziaria.

Due furgoni cellulari sono stati distrutti, così come cinque auto dello SPIP sono state interamente o parzialmente bruciate. Il Services pénitentiaires d’insertion et de probation (“Servizi penitenziari d’inserzione e messa alla prova”) è una struttura composta funzionari dell’amministrazione penitenziaria che “seguono” i detenuti e le persone sottoposte a misure alternative al carcere, partecipando alla decisione di fare uscire qualcuno in libertà vigilata, lo SPIP vigila affinché questa venga rispetatta o che la persona ritorni in carcere in caso di violazione dei termini.

Un vetro del locale dello SPIP è stato infranto ed è stata gettata una bottiglia molotov all’interno. Questa si è però spenta e l’incendio non ha divampato. Su un muro è stata vergata la scritta “Crève la justice, crève la taule, crève l’Etat, et créve!” (“Morte alla giustizia, morte alla prigione, morte allo Stato, e che crepi!”), accompagnata da una “A” cerchiata.

Around 3.00 a.m. on the morning of April 1st, 2020, in Amiens, northern France, anarchists set fire to several vehicles belonging to the prison administration.

Two cellular vans were destroyed, as well as five SPIP cars that had been fully or partially burned. The Services pénitentiaires d’insertion et de probation (“Prison services for insertion and probation”) is a structure composed of officials of the prison administration who “follow” prisoners and persons subject to alternative measures to prison, participating in the decision to release someone on probation, SPIP ensures that this is respected or that the person returns to prison if the terms are violated.

A glass in SPIP’s room has been smashed and a molotov bottle has been thrown inside. This bottle went out and the fire did not catch. On a wall was left the inscription “Crève la justice, crève la taule, crève l’Etat, et créve!” (“Death to justice, death to prison, death to the State and let him die!”), accompanied by a circled “A”.

This is the first time that the offices of the SPIP, the Somme’s Integration and Probation Prison Service, have been targeted by such an attack. During the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, around 3:30AM, one or more individuals torched several vehicles.

The vehicles were parked in a private parking lot behind the offices. Two vans used to take the detainees to the courthouse were torched. Five cars that allowed officers to visit detainees in open facilities, such as for parole, were also destroyed.

“Die Justice, Die Jail, Die State, Die!” was sprayed with black paint on the walls of the car park. It was signed with a circle A symbol of the anarchist movement. But the prosecutor of Amiens is being cautious. Nothing so far confirms this lead. Alexandre de Bosschère for whom this attack is above all symbolic: “it is not the SPIP itself that is targeted but justice, the State”.

An investigation has been opened and the images from the CCTV cameras exploited. But for the Force Ouvrière union, the individual or individuals would have passed through the back of the buildings. A simple barrier protects the entrance to the car park, while in front, facing the prison, the heavy white door is placed under video surveillance.

C’est la première fois que les bureaux du SPIP, le service pénitentiaire d’insertion et de probation de la Somme sont visés par une telle attaque. Dans la nuit de mardi à mercredi, vers 3h30 du matin, un ou plusieurs individus ont brûlé plusieurs véhicules.

Les véhicules étaient stationnés sur un parking privé, à l’arrière des bureaux. Deux fourgons permettant d’emmener les détenus au palais de justice ont brûlés.  Cinq voitures qui permettaient aux agents de se rendre chez les détenus placés en milieu ouvert, pour les libérations conditionnelles par exemple ont aussi été détruites. « Crève la justice, crève la taule, crève l’Etat et crève » ont été taggués à la peinture noire sur les murs du parking. Des inscriptions signées d’un A, symbole de la mouvance anarchiste. Mais le procureur d’Amiens se montre prudent. Rien pour l’instant ne vient confirmer cette piste. Alexandre de Bosschère pour qui cette attaque est avant tout symbolique : « ce n’est pas le SPIP en lui même qui est visé mais la justice, l’Etat ».

Une enquête a été ouverte et les images des caméras de vidéosurveillance exploitées. Mais pour le syndicat Force Ouvrière, le ou les individus seraient passés par l’arrière des bâtiments. Une simple barrière protège l’entrée du parking alors que devant, face à la prison, la lourde porte blanche est placée sous vidéosurveillance.

Le bâtiment est ensuite pris pour cible, une fenêtre est cassée, un départ de feu sera mis en évidence, fort heureusement, il ne s’est pas propagé à tout le bâtiment. A ce moment-là, une alarme se serait déclenchée, provoquant la fuite du ou des auteurs, et l’arrivée sur place du gardien qui ne pourra que constater les dégâts. […].
