Solidarietà a Vince

Lo scorso 8 agosto [2019], dopo una latitanza durata oltre sette anni, è stato arrestato in Francia il compagno anarchico Vincenzo Vecchi. In seguito alla condanna a 11 anni e mezzo per “devastazione e saccheggio” per i fatti del G8 di Genova [2001], Vince era infatti diventato irreperibile per lo Stato.

Una scelta ardua e coraggiosa, coerente con ciò che lui stesso dichiarò nell’aula di tribunale prima della sentenza: “…in quanto anarchico, ritengo i concetti borghesi di colpevolezza o innocenza totalmente privi di significato”. Quindi, una volta condannato definitivamente, ha deciso di partire, di non farsi acciuffare dai tanti apparati polizieschi che lo Stato gli ha sguinzagliato dietro.

Anni di clandestinità non devono essere stati facili, ma il modo in cui Vince ha affrontato la pena che lo Stato gli ha inflitto ci ha fatto sentire realmente complici con lui per la sua scelta.

Purtroppo il lavoro di Digos, Ucigos e tante altre merde ha portato alla sua cattura ed ora è prigioniero nel carcere di Rennes, in attesa della richiesta di estradizione in Italia dove dovrebbe scontare la condanna per la rivolta di Genova.

Spesso sentiamo scandire nei cortei “il nostro amore per la libertà è più forte di ogni autorità” ed è proprio questo amore che deve aver spinto alla scelta della latitanza. L’idea che ora il nostro compagno sia rinchiuso fra le quattro mura di un carcere ci colpisce al cuore, ma non ci abbatte; getta anzi benzina sul fuoco della lotta contro questo sistema.

Durante questi sette anni la forza che la scelta radicale fatta da Vince ha dato alle lotte è stata fondamentale per alcuni e il fatto che lo Stato abbia faticato così tanto per riuscire a mettergli le catene rafforza l’immagine di un potere non sempre invincibile. La rabbia che percorre le nostre vene è tanta, ma questa rabbia non potrà che scatenarsi contro il potere e i suoi apparati, con sempre più vigore.

Quelle di Genova sono state giornate di lotta, di guerra al capitalismo, di rivolta contro l’esistente. Non possiamo quindi che riportare le parole dette da Vince nelle aule di tribunale: “Mi sono sempre assunto la piena responsabilità e le eventuali conseguenze delle mie azioni, compresa la mia presenza nella giornata di mobilitazione contro il G8 del 20 luglio 2001, anzi sono onorato di aver partecipato da uomo libero ad un’azione radicale collettiva, senza nessuna struttura egemone al di sopra di me”.

Vogliamo esprimere massima solidarietà a Vince, con la voglia di rivederlo al più presto al nostro fianco nella lotta per l’abbattimento di questo sistema.

Solidarity to Vince

On August 8th [2019], after a run lasting more than seven years, anarchist comrade Vincenzo Vecchi was arrested in France. After being sentenced to 11 and a half years for “devastation and pillage” for the events of the G8 in Genoa [2001], Vince had indeed become untraceable for the State.

A difficult and courageous choice, consistent with what he himself declared in the courtroom before the sentence: “… as an anarchist, I consider the bourgeois concepts of guilt or innocence totally meaningless”. So, once he was definitively condemned, he decided to leave, not to be caught by the many police apparatuses that the State unleashed on him.

Years of clandestinity must not have been easy, but the way in which Vince faced the punishment that the state inflicted on him made us feel really complicit with him for his choice.

Unfortunately the work of Digos, Ucigos [Italian “political police” forces] and many other shits has led to his capture and now he is imprisoned in the prison of Rennes [in France], awaiting the extradition request to Italy where he should serve his sentence for the Genoa uprising.

We often hear in the demonstrations that “our love for freedom is stronger than any authority” and it’s precisely this love that must have led to the choice of hiding. The idea that our comrade is now enclosed within the four walls of a prison strikes us to the heart, but does not knock us down; rather it throws gasoline on the fire of the fight against this system.

During these seven years the strength that the radical choice made by Vince gave to the struggles was fundamental for some and the fact that the State struggled so much to succeed in putting its chains on it strengthens the image of a power that isn’t always invincible. The anger that runs through our veins is so great, but this anger can only be storm against power and its apparatus, with ever more vigor.

Those in Genoa were days of struggle, of war against capitalism, of revolt against the existent. We can therefore only report the words spoken by Vince in the courtrooms: “I have always assumed full responsibility and the possible consequences of my actions, including my presence on the day of mobilization against the G8 of 20 July 2001, indeed I am honored to have participated as a free man in a collective radical action, without any hegemonic structure above me”.

We want to express our utmost solidarity with Vince, with the desire to see him again as soon as possible with us in the fight for the demolition of this system.

Solidarité avec Vince

Le 8 août dernier, après une cavale durée plus de sept ans, le compagnon anarchiste Vincenzo Vecchi a été arrêté en France. En effet, suite à la condamnation à 11 ans et demi pour “dévastation et saccage” pour les émeutes du G8 de Gênes, Vince s’était mis au vert.

Un choix difficile et courageux, en cohérence avec ce que lui-même a déclaré dans la salle du tribunal avant la sentence : “…en tant qu’anarchiste, je pense que les concepts bourgeois de culpabilité et d’innocence sont complètement dépourvus de sens”. Du coup, après sa condamnation définitive, il a décidé de partir, de ne pas se laisser attraper par les nombreux apparat policier que l’État a lâché à sa poursuite.

Des années de clandestinité, ça n’a pas dû être facile, mais la manière dont Vincenzo a fait face à la peine que l’État lui a infligé, nous a fait sentir réellement complices avec lui, pour son choix.

Malheureusement, le travail de DIGOS, UCIGOS [la direction centrale d’où dépendent les différents bureaux locaux de la DIGOS, la police politique italienne ; NdAtt.] et de nombreuses autres merdes a mené à sa capture et il est maintenant prisonnier dans la prison de Rennes, dans l’attente de la demande d’extradition en Italie, où il devrait purger la condamnation pour la révolte de Gênes.

Lors des manifestations, on entend souvent le slogan « Notre amour pour la liberté est plus fort que toute autorité » et ça doit être justement cet amour qui l’a poussé au choix de la cavale. Savoir que notre compagnon est maintenant enfermé derrière les murs d’une taule nous touche au cœur, mais ne nous terrasse pas ; au contraire, cela met de l’essence sur le feu de la lutte contre ce système.

Pendant ces sept ans, la force que le choix radical entrepris par Vince a donné aux luttes a été fondamentale pour certaines personnes et le fait que l’État a dû peiner si longtemps pour arriver à l’attraper renforce l’image d’un pouvoir qui n’est pas toujours invincible. Beaucoup de rage parcourt nos veines et elle ne pourra que se déchaîner contre le pouvoir et ses apparats, avec toujours plus de vigueur.

Celles de Gênes ont été des journées de lutte, de guerre contre le capitalisme, de révolte contre l’existant. On ne peut donc que répéter les mots prononcés par Vince dans la salle du tribunal : « J’ai toujours assumé la pleine responsabilité et les éventuelles conséquences de mes actions, y compris ma présence aux journées de mobilisation contre le G8 de juillet 2001 ; ce qui est plus, je me sens honoré d’avoir participé, homme libre, à une action radicale collective, sans aucune structure hégémonique au dessus de moi”.

Nous voulons exprimer toute notre solidarité avec Vince, avec l’envie de le voir à nouveau à nos côtés dans la lutte pour la destruction de ce système.
