Il fuoco è scoppiato all’interno della compagnia Eurovia [una società appartenente al famigerato gruppo Vinci] a Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds nella notte compresa tra lunedì e martedì intorno alle 2.45 del mattino. Diversi vigili del fuoco delle caserme dell’agglomerato di Saint Etienne convergevano al chemin de Littes. Quando arrivarono, quattro camion, due escavatori e diversi veicoli commerciali nel parcheggio della compagnia erano già stati distrutti dalle fiamme. I soccorritori hanno dovuto dispiegare tre manichette antincendio per impedire che l’incendio si diffondesse nell’edificio amministrativo.
La polizia ha aperto un’indagine: la tesi dolosa è quella favorita dagli investigatori. In effetti sono stati identificati tre punti di accensione separati. Il danno ammonterebbe a quasi un milione di euro. La disoccupazione tecnica è prevista, così come i ritardi nei lavori in corso sul sito.
Secondo Radio Scoop “otto veicoli hanno preso fuoco […]. In particolare, i camion per il trasporto di detriti sono stati danneggiati lungo la strada. Più in alto, sono stati bruciati anche un escavatore, un camion a pianale e un camion a vuoto. Infine, vicino agli edifici della compagnia [Eurovia], due veicoli commerciali sono stati danneggiati”.

Fire broke out within the Eurovia company [a company that belongs to the infamous Vinci group] in Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds during Monday to Tuesday night at around 2.45am. Several fire-fighters of the barracks of the Saint Etienne agglomeration converged at the chemin de Littes. When they arrived, four trucks, two excavators and several utility vehicles in the company car park had already been destroyed by the flames. Rescuers had to deploy three fire hoses to prevent the fire spreading to the administrative building.
Police have opened an investigation: the arson thesis is that favoured by the investigators. In fact, three separate ignition points were identified. The damage would amount to almost a million euros. Technical unemployment is expected, as well as delays in work in progress on the site.
According to Radio Scoop, “eight vehicles caught fire […]. In particular, trucks for transporting rubble were damaged down the street. Higher up, an excavator, a flatbed truck and a vacuum truck were also burned. Finally, near the company buildings, two utility vehicles were damaged”.

Un incendie s’est déclaré au sein de la société Eurovia [société qui appartient au bien connu groupe Vinci; NdAtt.] à Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds dans la nuit de lundi à mardi vers 2 h 45. Plusieurs pompiers des casernes de l’agglomération stéphanoise ont convergé chemin des Littes. A leur arrivée, quatre poids-lourds, deux pelles mécaniques et plusieurs utilitaires garés sur le parking de la société avaient été détruits par les flammes. Les secours ont du déployer trois lances incendie pour éviter la propagation au bâtiment administratif.
La police a ouvert une enquête : la thèse de l’incendie volontaire est privilégiée par les enquêteurs. En effet, trois départs de feu distinct ont été identifiés. Le préjudice s’élèverait à près d’un million d’euros. Du chômage technique est à prévoir, tout comme du retard sur des travaux en cours sur le site.
Selon Radio Scoop, « huit véhicules ont pris feu […]. Des camions de transports de gravats ont notamment été endommagés en bas de la rue. Plus haut, une pelle sur pneus, un camion plateau et un camion aspirateur ont également été incendiés. Enfin, près des bâtiments de la société, deux utilitaires ont été endommagés ».
